Will de Peyer is the co-founder and director of Tendo Consulting, a public affairs and strategic communications firm based in London. He advises businesses, trade associations and civil society organisations on political strategy, economic policy and stakeholder engagement. Will has led numerous successful public affairs campaigns resulting in policy change at both national and sub-national levels across the UK.
Will studied economics and began his career in the City of London, working in the international insurance market before moving into investment banking. He subsequently transitioned into politics, serving as a Treasury adviser to the Liberal Democrats in opposition, advising Vince Cable, Lord Oakeshott and Lord Newby on economic policy. In 2010, he was appointed Special Adviser to the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Danny Alexander, during the UK coalition government (2010–2015). In this role, he worked with a remit spanning all economic departments of government, advising on public spending, economic policy and strategic communications.
In 2015, Will co-founded Tendo Consulting alongside fellow Treasury Special Adviser Peter Carroll, combining decades of experience in politics, finance and public affairs. The firm supports clients in navigating the intersection of policy and reputation, with a focus on strategic engagement, political insight and long-term impact.
