Lindblom 

Ewald van Rooij is co-founder and senior consultant at Lindblom public relations public affairs, based in The Hague, which he co-leads with Diana Kleinjans. He advises a broad range of clients, including ING Netherlands, the Dutch House of Representatives, the Royal Association of Dutch Architectural Firms, and stakeholders in area development and public participation. In 2019, he established a strategic alliance with Ridens Public Affairs in Brussels, leading to the founding of United Government Affairs (UGA), a global network of independent public affairs agencies.

 

Ewald specialises in corporate communications and public affairs for both public and private sector organisations. He often acts as a strategic advisor or executive coach while remaining engaged in implementation. Notable projects include the launch and communication strategy for telecom provider Ben, the national travel safety campaign “Wijs op Reis”, and advising on mergers, rebrandings, and crisis communication. He introduced the “craft economy” concept for the Dutch Chamber of Trades and supported initiatives such as the Schiphol Social Council and the Dutch National Ombudsman.

 

He studied political science at Erasmus University Rotterdam and began his career in 1991 at Van Rossum & Partners. After senior roles there and at Pauw & Van Spaendonck, he founded Lindblom in 2001. He is a member of the Dutch Professional Association for Public Affairs (BVPA) and the Association for Applied Political Science Practitioners. Ewald is a regular guest lecturer at the Universities of Amsterdam and Tilburg.
